"Why hasn't anybody told a story about mitochondrial Eve yet? or the truth about Neanderthals? or packs and men? The author's fast

NOVEL IN A NUTSHELL
The legendary mitochondrial mother of mankind, Eve, leads her tribes (Homo sapiens) north out of Africa to prove the legend of the lost tribes and discover their roots. Wolves and Neanderthals await them in a place like Eden surrounded by bountiful game. A looming ice age winter is about to beset them. Only their hearts are ready, ready for anything. The Neanderthals teach them how to enjoy life and survive in a world dominated by wolves.
A time-challenged paleoanthropologist Arny is also trying to discover his roots, find his grandfather, an infamous Nazi archeologist. On his journey, he stumbles and falls for Eve, the most powerful and alluring woman Earth Mother has ever created. The fiesty Eve is a challenge for any man, but will she be tempted to leave the tribes she loves and protects?
Would you like to travel back in time to run with wolves? Pristine, rich atmosphere and water. Would you like to know the truth about the Clan, how wolves and men got along or didn't, places like Eden, how they lived, how they loved?
This is not only a story of two individuals or the world's first (free) wolf dog. In a world of ultimate freedom to walk or lope the earth wherever and whenever you please, you will still find yourself bound by love. This story is about the lives of people and wolves, together and apart and how understanding their ancestry changes all.
Enjoy the wrestling, romances, songs, dances, ceremonies, storytelling, hunts, and art. Gather your firewood, slack your mammoth hide, finish off the last of the gazelle jerky and redbush mountain tea, your journey will forever change you . . . in a time that is nevermore?

Top ten reasons why you would want to invest your time and heart in this story:
1. The story of mitochondrial Eve, our common
ancestor has not been dramatized.
2. Nor has anyone tackled wolves and men at the pack and tribe level.
3. Who was stronger, the Neanderthals
or the taller Africans? Bull and Arhn will wrestle with this problem.
4. If you're looking for a story about tribes and packs interacting,
then the characters should be developed more or less equally. There are many stories awaiting you in The First Man Standing.
5. Have
you been having trouble with your scimitar (saber toothed cat) cubs, the local cave lions, a spirit raven, one friendly arctic
fox, and a mountain of a cave bear, lately. The remedies await you.
6. When was the last time you went to the library and
asked for a high concept multi-cultural (pre-)historical based in magical realism, fantasy romance, sci-fi, adventure and women's
empowerment? Oops don't forget -- who is about to murder Eve and will the tribes, Clan and packs discover their common heritage.
It is all about being immersed in a world many misunderstood or didn't know existed.
7. Find out how the author weaved in a little
story of a lost boy from Java - late Homo erectus along with the boy's stories of Gigantopithicus (12 foot tall gorilla)
and Homo Floresiensis (3 foot tall people), and why the boy was important to the plot.
8. Want to consider a world in which
human and wolf problems were solved using hearts rather than spears. How odd.
9. Why these people had larger brains than us and
does it really matter? See page 7 & 4.
10. Help turn this important story into a cave buster.

liberty to go where he pleases."

The authors respond to a commonly asked question, about allegory:
Every facet of the novel is based on the best available science.
The use of allegory (Eden, Eve, innocence), was not meant to be takened biblically. It just happened to be the best fit for the scientific
data as perceived and to the best of the writer's ability. See page 4.
The novel is rated "PG" by Eve ... Trust your mother. Some
nudity & graphic hunting scenes.
